Will this program help me get into IB/PE?

Our program is extremely helpful to students who are trying to enter the field of IB/PE. Our program provides valuable skill sets and inside perspective to the job requirements of a banker/analyst. Also, our program is taught from the “on the job” perspective. The student acts as the banker/analyst during the program and the instructor acts as the client or CEO of a company. Students are required to create the model as well as translate that information into sound financial advice.

Am I too old to enter into IB/PE?

No, you are never too old to make a switch into IB/PE. There are many roles within a PE and IB firm in which experience is a huge benefit.

How complex is the material? I am a recent MBA and want to make sure I am not covering the same material that I did in school?

Our program teaches the practical application of theories and concepts. Some MBA programs cover the theories from an academic perspective, not the practical application of the concepts. Our program teaches the concepts and theory as well as how you apply these in your model as a professional on the job.

What are the chronological steps to becoming a financial analyst? I currently have a BA in Finance and I am now going to work on my MBA. Is there a program that will get me in the door as an analyst with no relevant experience?

There are several steps to becoming a financial analyst. A business degree is the relevant first step. Furthering that with the MBA is an excellent addition to your resume. Relevant work experience is essential, but those who don't have that experience use our program to build the skill sets to help further a transition into investment banking or private equity. There are a lot of MBAs out there…our students recognize the need to set themselves apart.
